The Trento Hinge uses durable non-asbestos fiber (NAF) gaskets, compatible with both 3/8" and 1/2" (10 and 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass. This compressible material adapts to help maintain a consistent grip between the hinge and glass across varying surface conditions.
The Adjustable Trento allows you to fine-tune the position and alignment of the door after installation for smooth operation and a tight seal. Once the door is hung, simply loosen the Allen set screws and move the door to the desired closed position. By tightening the Allen screws, the door will self-center to the desired angle. The hinge supports a 90 degree inward and 90 degree outward swing from factory settings, with swing range decreasing as the closing angle is adjusted. For outward-swing applications with a clear jamb, it can be set to close up to 5 degree inside the shower area for a secure, tight seal against the jamb.
Using two hinges with 3/8" and 1/2" (10 and 12 mm) glass, the hinge can support doors up to 150 lbs (68 kg) with a maximum width of 40" (1016 mm).
Using three hinges with 3/8" and 1/2" (10 and 12 mm) glass, the hinge can support doors up to 190 lbs. (86 kg) for doors up to 40" (1016 mm) wide.
