The Trine 005C 26D is a fail-secure mortise electric strike designed for access control systems, operating on a dual voltage input of 4-6VDC or 8-16VAC. This light commercial grade strike remains locked when power is removed and unlocks when power is applied. It features a satin chrome finish (BHMA 652 / US26D) and is suitable for installation in wood jambs and iron gates. The strike is compatible with bored cylindrical locksets having up to a 5/8 inch throw, based on a 1/8 inch door gap. It offers a holding force of 1000 lbs and a durability rating of 500,000 life cycles. The faceplate measures 3-1/2 inches by 1-3/8 inches, with a 2-3/4 inch mortise backset and a non-handed design for versatile installation. The 005C series electric strike has only one moving part in its locking mechanism and produces a buzzing sound with AC or low-voltage DC, or operates silently with 12VDC.
