The Thru Glass Two Way Electronic Communicator is designed to support controlled voice communication through fixed glass panels used in security counters, service windows, and isolation booth environments. This model is suitable for glass thickness from 1/2" to 1" and includes an 18" gooseneck size that allows extended microphone reach and flexible positioning for clear voice pickup during conversations. The unit is manufactured from machined aluminum and finished in satin anodized, providing a consistent surface for fixed indoor installations. Electret microphones are used to support two way communication, while audio distortion is maintained at less than 2% to help preserve clear sound transfer. The communicator operates on DC power and includes a lithium ion battery that provides a useful time of 10 to 12 hours per charge, with up to 10 hours of battery operation when external power is not available. Battery charge time is approximately 6 hours. The power system accepts a wide output supports of 12V/DC, 2A and accepts a power supply input of 120V at 60 Hz for stable operation. A listen mode with 20 db compression is included to help manage incoming audio levels during use. The unit has a depth of 4" and a total weight of 4 lbs, making it suitable for secure glass-mounted counter installations.
