The Veolia Environmental Services RecyclePak SUPPLY-041 is a prepaid dry cell battery recycling pail designed for the compliant disposal and recycling of various battery types. This 3.5-gallon pail, with a 50 lb capacity, is UN-rated and DOT-approved for safe transport. It includes a container with a locking lid, a 4 mil poly liner, a liner tie, instructions, and a prepaid return shipping label, offering full coverage for liability. It accepts dry cell batteries, including AAA, AA, C, D, and 9-volt batteries, encompassing chemistries such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, NiCAD, NiMH, silver oxide, mercury, lithium metal, and lithium ion. The pail has a top diameter of 11.45 inches, a bottom diameter of 10.24 inches, and a height of 10.58 inches. An online certificate of acceptance for recycling is provided upon completion. Batteries must be taped to prevent short circuits, and the service is restricted to the lower 48 contiguous states.
