Product Overview
The Von Duprin 230TP R SP28 exit device trim is designed for use with Von Duprin 22 Series rim exit devices. This thumbpiece trim provides exterior access and features a key-operated function, designated as ANSI Function 05, allowing for both locking and unlocking from the outside. The escutcheon plate is constructed from heavy 10 gauge (2.4 mm) steel and features a powder-coated aluminum (SP28) finish. It measures 3 inches by 12-1/16 inches with a 3/32-inch thickness and projects 2 inches from the door surface. A 1-1/4 inch mortise cylinder is required for operation but is not included. This trim is ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified and UL listed for panic exit hardware, suitable for commercial applications.
