This Westinghouse 36 in. Extension Downrod provides the proper height for your ceiling fan to maximize its cooling benefits. Ideal for rooms with 12 ft. ceilings, it features tapered threaded ends for a more stable connection and a brushed nickel finish that complements existing ceiling fans. The extension downrod measures 36 in. L x 3/4 in. I.D. and can be used with Westinghouse or other ceiling fans that require a 3/4 in. ID ceiling fan extension downrod. For optimum performance and safety, ceiling fan blades should be at least 7 ft. from the floor but no higher than 8 ft. to 9 ft. in order to best cool a room. For ceilings 9 ft. and higher, an extension downrod is required to bring the ceiling fan down to the proper height above the floor. Product reference number 77528.

  • Recommended for use in rooms with 12 ft. ceilings
  • Adaptable to Westinghouse fans and all ceiling fans that utilize a 3/4 in. I.D. ceiling fan extension downrod
  • Maximizes cooling benefits of a ceiling fan
  • Tapered threads for a deeper, more stable connection
