The Zircon Corporation MetalliScanner m40 Metal Locator easily detects metal in wood, drywall, stucco, plaster, concrete and other non-metallic surfaces. The M40 locates ferrous metal up to 4 in. deep and non-ferrous metal up to 2 in. deep.
