The CRL Zircon® Studsensor® is an ingenious device that uses sonar technology to locate studs, fire breaks, and ceiling joists hidden behind up to 3/4" (19 mm) thick drywall. Quicker to use and more accurate than magnetic stud finders, it detects structures rather than just nails. Operates with a single 9 Volt battery (not included). It's simple to use: first hold it while it self-calibrates to the thickness of the wall surface. A light display indicates exactly where studs are located, and quickly determines their centers. It works on plywood, wallboard, plaster, acoustical ceilings and more. This truly amazing tool is lightweight, fits in your pocket, and works on one 9 volt battery.
