These CRL ADI Tilt Wheels allow a CNC machine to create the 45º mitre needed for built up edges that would normally have to be done on a bridge saw.
The main benefits of using these tools instead of the bridge saw are as follows:
Accuracy - The CNC will cut straight and accurately, unlike a bridge saw which can sometimes run off course due to the blades' natural flex.
Less Chipping - Bridge saw blades tend to chip the material, especially some granites. These tools will give a much better finish with very little chipping which means only a very small chamfer is required when the pieces have been assembled. Bigger chamfers that are often needed following a bridge saw cut will expose the joint line, therefore creating a less professional finish.
