Replacing shower-door hardware starts with the holes already in the glass. If the center-to-center spacing, glass thickness, hole diameter, or mounting style is wrong, an otherwise similar acrylic towel bar will not fit.
Shop acrylic towel bars, acrylic pull handles, and towel bar-and-handle combinations for compatible glass shower doors. Clear acrylic keeps the bar visually light, while metal rings, collars, and mounting hardware provide finish options such as polished chrome, brushed nickel, brass, satin brass, and oil-rubbed bronze.
The correct configuration depends on what is installed on each side of the shower door and how the glass was drilled.
Single-sided and back-to-back products are not interchangeable unless their mounting specifications match the existing glass. Combination sets also list two measurements because the towel bar and pull handle have different center-to-center lengths.
Measure center to center from the middle of one mounting hole to the middle of the next. Do not measure the full outside length of the bar, rings, or collars. A product listed as an 18-inch or 24-inch towel bar generally identifies the mounting-hole spacing, but the product specifications should make this clear.
Before removing the current hardware, record:
Measure each value directly rather than relying only on the shower-door model or the old product description. Two bars with the same listed length may require different hole diameters or support different glass thicknesses.
Acrylic handles and pulls in this category are made for compatible glass shower-door installations. They are different from cabinet pulls, so cabinet measurements such as 96 mm or 128 mm should not be used unless a specific product listing provides those dimensions.
Use a pull handle when you need hardware for opening and closing the shower door. Choose a combination set when the same mounting position must support a pull on one side and a towel bar on the other. Check which component faces the inside and outside of the enclosure, along with the clearance needed for the door to swing or slide.
Browse acrylic bathroom towel bars, acrylic pull handles, and combination sets from CRL, Brixwell, US Horizon, and other shower-hardware suppliers. Compare the mounting specifications on each listing before choosing a replacement.
For other materials and configurations, browse towel bars or tubular pull handles. You can also view the wider shower door towel rack category.
