Air Gaps

The best way to ensure that the contaminants and wastewater do not enter the dishwasher from the drain through the backflow action is by using an air gap fitting. The small accessory will make sure that the contaminated water never enters your clean-water supply. It is a small metal or plastic hardware fitting that is usually installed on the sink or countertop. Installing the air gap to the dishwasher is required in many areas and is a preferred method of connecting a dishwasher drain.

The Proplus Dishwasher Air Gap available in this section has an ABS cover and is chrome plated for perfection. The air gap works by merely separating the two hoses of the dishwasher, and as the dishwasher pumps wastewater to the air gap, it gets moved away by the drain hose to the waste disposal. Another product in the category is the Air Gap Soap Dispenser from Danco Company. The sink air gap is a versatile item that can be effectively turned into a soap dispenser, with the air gap still doing the job it is supposed to. It has a stylish straight nozzle that is finished in chrome to elevate the décor of your kitchen. You can give quotes for bulk order discounts and individual product needs.
