Product Overview
The OmegaFlex CounterStrike FGP-CS-750-250 corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) is a semi-rigid flexible gas pipe designed for transporting natural gas or LP gas to appliances in residential, commercial, or industrial applications. It features a stainless steel pressure liner (ASTM A240 Type 304/321) and a black, conductive, UV/Ozone resistant polyethylene jacket with flame retardant properties. The CounterStrike technology provides enhanced resistance to electrical arcing energy from indirect lightning strikes, making it up to 400 times more resistant than standard yellow CSST. With a nominal diameter of 3/4 inch and supplied in a 250-foot spool, this tubing has an inside diameter of 0.82 inches, an outside diameter of 1.14 inches, and a wall thickness of 0.01 inches. It is rated for a working pressure of 25 psi (maximum 125 psi) and a temperature range of -20 to 200°F. The product meets various safety and performance standards including ANSI LC1/CSA 6.26, ANSI Z223.1, ASTM E84, ICC Code (IFGC, IPC), IC LC 1024, ICC PMG 1058, IAPMO ES ER-0227, and UL 723. Installation must be performed by trained personnel in accordance with NFPA 58 & 54, and all applicable state and local codes.
