This feature prevents forgetting the key in the lock, while at the same time ensuring the mailbox is locked every time. It includes a total of 5 zinc plated steel cams, brass pins, a spring steel locking clip and 2 keys. To unlock this mailbox lock, the key must rotate 90 degrees in a counter clockwise direction. This mailbox lock replaces many original manufacturer’s locks, like those manufactured by American Device, Florence, Miami-Carey, Bommer, and Auth Electric.
