The CRL Chrome Plated Ceiling Mount Fitting for the Cable Display System is an integral component of the Cable Display System since it provides a method of fastening the 2 mm Cables into a drop ceiling. The Ceiling Mount Fitting comes with (1) washer and (2) nuts which attach to the sub-ceiling above the acoustical tile.
The "push tube" adjustment part of the fitting is mounted underneath the tile. Once installed, the 2 mm stainless steel cable is inserted into the fitting and pulled tight. One each unit per package. Important Notes:
WEIGHT LIMITATIONS: When properly installed, each column (4 cables) can bear a total weight of up to 80 pounds (36 kg). Each shelf can bear a total weight of 20 pounds (9 kg), when used with CB74, CB76 and CB78 Ceiling Mount Fittings. If CB112 and CB114 Hanger Pipe Base Fittings are properly anchored and used as ceiling attachments, each column (4 cables) can bear a total weight of 40 pounds (18 kg).
