ME1600D Series Dielectric pigtails/ hog tails are intended to isolate metallic piping from sources of electrical current and to help prevent galvanic corrosion when used on underground containers. The ME1600D dielectric pigtail/ hog tail would typically be installed at the ASME tank directly upstream of the first stage regulator prior to underground piping, isolating the underground metallic piping from electric current. These pigtail and hog tail assemblies come with 2 brass connectors brazed onto a heavy wall annealed copper tube with a 250 psig pressure rating. The 1/4 and 3/8 tube have a pull test rating of 500 and 750 lbs. respectively.
