Product Overview
The ME488P Disposable Cylinder Adapter is machined of solid brass. The 1/4 in. male pipe fitting fits the inlet of all standard low-pressure regulators. The female 1 to 20 disposable cylinder thread accepts a disposable LP gas cylinder and allows for use of small portable cylinders if larger bulk cylinders are not available.
- Use to connect disposable cylinders to preheaters, torches and other equipment with 1/4 in. FPT inlet
- Perfect for remote preheater and torch use when space is at a premium and equipment use is minimal
- Caution: when installing the cylinder adapter into regulator inlet, it is recommended that Te on tape be used instead of sealant, if thread sealant is used, extreme caution should be taken that no thread sealant gets into the regulator inlet
- Durable all brass construction
