Product Overview
The Oatey MODA 37608 Washing Machine Outlet Box provides a recessed plumbing access point for hot and cold water supply and drainage in residential and commercial applications. The system features a PVC box with interlocking wing flanges, allowing versatile installation on a single stud, between two studs, or on separate walls. It includes two two-piece forged brass valves with stainless steel retention clips and EPDM O-rings, designed for field replacement and featuring 1/2-inch push-connect inlet connections and 3/4-inch washing machine hose outlets. This model does not include water hammer arrestors. An integrated emergency drain port provides protection from hose leaks, and a removable quarter-turn plug facilitates DWV testing. The box has an assembled width of 14.13 inches, a box depth of 3.38 inches, and a box height of 4.85 inches. Valves are rated to 250°F (121°C) and withstand up to 100 psi (air) and 250 psi (water) test pressure. It is IAPMO-Listed, and its valves are ASME A112.18.1 / CSA B125.1 a NSF / ANSI 61 & 372 compliant.
