Used to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard. Also may be used for certain branch circuits as permitted by the NEC. Suitable for use at temperatures not to exceed 90 deg C in wet or dry locations. Meets or exceeds UL Standard 44 for Type XHHW-02 conductors or UL Standard 83 for Type THHN/THWN, UL Standard 854, Federal Specification A-A-5944 and NEC requirements.
